Installation Policy
• CORSINI Acoustic Solutions offers acoustic treatment and soundproofing installations. This includes installing bass traps, absorbers, acoustic panels, and diffusers using state-of-the-art lasers and tools.
• While our installations aim for the highest quality, it's important to acknowledge that perfection isn't always achievable due to the handmade nature of our work and the specific characteristics of the materials involved (plasterboard, wood, cement, brick, etc.).
Quotation and Pricing:
• Quotations are based on the project's scope and customization, but unforeseen work may arise due to unique conditions or environmental factors. In such cases, we will charge for the extra time and consumables required, and communicate changes before proceeding.
• To secure a booking, we require a 50% upfront deposit. This deposit confirms your acceptance of the quotation and the terms of this policy.
Rescheduling and Callout Fees:
• If work must be rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., inaccessible site, delays by other parties), a second callout fee may be applied.
Site Preparation and Access:
• Clients are responsible for ensuring that the installation site is ready, accessible, and free from obstacles before our team arrives.
• Our team will take every precaution to work safely and protect the existing property during installations.
Insurance and Liability:
• CORSINI Acoustic Solutions holds public and products liability insurance to cover our work, protecting both clients and ourselves in case of accidental damage or injury.
• Clients should ensure they have adequate coverage for their property and belongings.
Legal Compliance:
Our installations comply with relevant Australian standards and building codes. We ensure that all work adheres to local regulations and meets safety and quality benchmarks.
Quotations are prepared based on the information available at the time and the agreed scope of works.
Unforeseen conditions may arise due to hidden services, substrate variations, access limitations, or site-specific constraints.
Where additional work, time, or consumables are required beyond the original scope, these will be discussed with the client or project coordinator before proceeding and charged accordingly.
To secure a booking, a 50% upfront deposit is required. Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of the quotation and this Installation Policy.
For interstate projects, installation pricing may include travel and logistics costs such as flights, accommodation, vehicle hire, and travel allowances.
CORSINI Acoustic Solutions endeavours to book flexible or cancellable travel and accommodation options wherever reasonably possible (e.g. flexible airfares and accommodation with free cancellation windows).
This approach is intended to protect both the client and CORSINI Acoustic Solutions in the event of schedule changes.
Despite these precautions, clients acknowledge that unforeseen events (including but not limited to flight disruptions, accommodation availability, extreme weather, illness, or force majeure events) may occur.
In such cases, CORSINI Acoustic Solutions will act in good faith and make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption and costs in the interests of both parties.
Any non-recoverable or additional costs arising from such events may be passed on at cost, where applicable.
Installation dates are scheduled in advance and rely on site readiness and confirmed access.
If installation must be delayed, rescheduled, or aborted due to circumstances beyond our control (including inaccessible sites, incomplete site preparation, client delays, or third-party interference), additional callout fees, travel costs, or accommodation costs may apply.
Where possible, reasonable notice and communication will be provided.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that installation areas are:
• cleared of furniture, equipment, and obstructions,
• safe and accessible for the duration of the installation,
• and free of valuable or sensitive equipment within active work zones.
While reasonable assistance may be provided at the installer’s discretion, CORSINI Acoustic Solutions is not responsible for relocating large or delicate items.
Removal or disposal of packaging materials, waste, or debris is not included unless explicitly agreed in writing prior to installation.
CORSINI Acoustic Solutions maintains public and products liability insurance appropriate to the services provided.
Clients remain responsible for ensuring their own property and contents are adequately insured.
CORSINI Acoustic Solutions cannot be held liable for pre-existing conditions or concealed defects within walls, ceilings, or structures.
All installations are carried out in accordance with applicable Australian standards, manufacturer specifications, and relevant building and safety regulations.
CORSINI Acoustic Solutions undertakes all work in good faith and with professional care.
In the event of unexpected circumstances, both parties agree to cooperate reasonably to reach practical and fair outcomes.
