Hybrid absorber-diffuser wall panels with a parametric 3D slatted front – Broad version.
Avalon K Broad is the wider Hi-Fi & Living Room version of Avalon K: six profiles (I to VI) combine into a continuous parametric 3D pattern, with a slatted front in birch veneer or lacquered HMDF over a PET acoustic core and a fabric or PET backing. Profile I is 45 mm deep; profiles II to VI are 110 mm. Panels are 2380 mm long.
Acoustic performance (Artnovion published data): absorption range 315 Hz to 5000 Hz, Acoustic Class C, αw = 0.65, with some scattering at higher frequencies from the slatted geometry. It is a mid/high-frequency treatment, not a bass trap.
