Fuji is a curved acoustic foam screen that sits behind and around a microphone. It reduces the amount of room reflection and background noise reaching the microphone from behind and the sides, which helps when recording in untreated or partly treated rooms. It has an adjustable microphone clamp and height adjustment so it fits most stands and setups.
A shield like this improves the direct-to-reflected ratio at the microphone; it does not soundproof a room or replace room treatment, and reflections arriving from in front of the singer (behind the microphone's rejection angle) are not addressed. Dimensions approx. 473 x 350 x 375 mm.
