Olympus W is a curved isolation screen for microphones, with vertical solid-wood slats over an absorbent backing. Artnovion designs the slat spacing so the screen controls first reflections and room contribution behind the microphone without colouring the microphone's response. It is designed and handcrafted in northern Portugal, in Fagus (beech) or Black Fagus.
As with any microphone shield, it improves the direct-to-reflected ratio at the microphone but does not replace room treatment. Dimensions approx. 422 x 350 x 300 mm.
