Parametric 3D hybrid absorber-diffuser panels in wood or lacquered finish, for walls.
Avalon K is a hybrid panel of recycled PET and timber. Six profiles (I to VI, 595 x 2380 mm; profile I is 45.5 mm deep, II to VI are 110 mm) combine into a continuous parametric 3D pattern that changes with viewing angle. Each panel has a slatted front in birch veneer or lacquered HMDF over a high-density PET acoustic core with a fabric or PET backing, and an integrated fixing system.
Acoustically, Avalon K is mainly a mid/high-frequency absorber (Artnovion data: approx. 630 Hz to 5000 Hz, αw 0.40, Class D) with some scattering at higher frequencies (Artnovion publishes a scattering coefficient that rises above about 2.5 kHz). It suits offices, meeting rooms, lobbies and corridors where you want texture and reverberation control; it is not a low-frequency treatment.
