The Floor - Starter solution is best insulation choice when there's no space to spare inside the room. The combined layer of UL-EPDM and UL-Foam alone can improve the floor's impact sound reduction up to 15 dB, in only 7mm of total thickness. This solution installed on a 150 mm concrete slab is expected to result in an Airborne Sound Reduction Index (Rw) of 54 dB and an Impact Sound Pressure Level (Lw) of 64 dB.
