Kea K is a large-format absorber (605 x 2400 mm or 605 x 2700 mm) with perforations of varying diameters, which Artnovion calibrates to widen the absorption bandwidth. It is aimed at large spaces such as auditoriums, concert halls and arenas. Panels can run across a whole wall or ceiling with a continuous pattern and are fixed directly with screws.
Kea K works mainly in the mid frequencies (Artnovion data: approx. 500 Hz to 2500 Hz, NRC 0.50, Class D). Artnovion publishes absorption for the panel as tested and for the panel over a 30 mm PET layer: adding depth behind the panel raises low-mid absorption. It is suited to reverberation and speech-intelligibility control, not to low-frequency (room mode) treatment. Ask us for a specification for your room.
Available in Furniture Grade (FG) and Fire Rated (FR) versions. Artnovion states the FR version is classified B-s1, d0 under the European standard (EN 13501-1), and that the PET core is a Class 1 product under OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
